Harkening back to simpler times, in the frontier spirit of a small business, we have taken on the role of e-peddlers traveling throughout the vast territory of cyber country. Needing to make ends meet and determined to earn our way by our own efforts, we have hitched up the electronic horses to bring you a wagon full of selected wares. We offer these goods for your consideration to buy—not for indulgent consumption, but out of necessity and usefulness.
Urban Homestead Supply is an online resource dedicated to bringing to you tried-and-true products for the urban homesteader and eco-pioneer. Behind Urban Homestead Supply stands a 25 year urban homestead called Path to Freedom® run by a family of urban homesteaders who are living a true modern pioneer life. Most of the products offered here are in use every day on the urban homestead . This isn't your typical store but a real-life working sustainable urban "farm" where products have to perform reliably and are expected to last a long time under regular (daily) abuse. You won't find frivolous eco-novelties in this shop. If it doesn't work for us, we don't offer it - plain and simple.
We are not a new "virtual" company that decided to cash in on the "greenstream" trends in society. We offer quality products, important and useful to us and our blog readers, in order to assist you in your journey for a greener, simpler lifestyle.

As care takers of creation, we strive to respect the earth in everything we do. Our computers are operated on solar power generated on our property and our hosting company on wind power (read more about our green business practices).
