(Cichorium endivia) Quick growing miniature French “Frisée” type endive. Narrow finely curled leaves can be grown for baby leaves or larger mature leaves. Excellent delicate flavor.
Organic.
Packet: 150 seeds.
Days to maturity: 30 - baby; 50 - mature.
Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep. Plant out when a light frost is still possible. Can also be directly sown outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Plant closer together or cover centers for well blanched, tender stems.
