(Phaseolus vulgaris) Old-fashioned pole bean variety with an extra-long harvest season. The most widely grown green bean has vigorous 5-7' plants yield clusters of 7-10" stringless oval-flat pods and brown seeds.

This bean was first marketed in 1864 as Texas Pole, then renamed and introduced in 1877 as Kentucky Wonder by James J. H. Gregory & Sons. Great flavor, an all-time favorite. Pole habit, snap.
